This fruit was originally purchased with the intention of blending it into the 2010 Griffin. As it was aging, Kelly took samples directly from the barrel and fell in love with the wine – so much so, that she and Bob decided to bottle 200 cases of it to share this elegant and luscious 100% Syrah with our friends. Bob says: "Very dark, inky and spicy. Firmly structured with balanced moderate tannins and natural acidity, flavors of spicy blackberry explode across the palate with a rich middle. Deliciously concentrated, this Syrah is built for early drinkability and long-term bottle aging."
