Thank you for your interest in visiting our small, production-focused winery. We are happy to welcome adult guests by appointment Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 10:30am. (Allow one hour for tasting.)

Reservations 
Our visitor permit limits us to a maximum of 10 guests per day, so all reservations must be secured with a credit card and made at least 48 hours in advance. Please book early as our calendar fills quickly and we cannot accept walk-ins.

Fee
Our tasting fee is $50 per person + tax.

We will refund the price of one tasting fee for every six bottles purchased.

Cancellation 

Tasting fees are refundable only if you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment.

Operating Dates

We will be closed November 28-30, 2024, December 23-31, 2024 and January 1-8, 2025.

Important Details

+ Google Maps will get you to us if you type in ‘Robert Foley Vineyards’, but some other GPS and map programs often send folks up a closed road, and there’s limited mobile coverage on Howell Mountain.
 
+ We are about 20 minutes east of St Helena, up mountain roads and in a very rural part of Angwin. Please review the directions and your mapping program before you depart, so you have an idea of what to expect from the journey here.
 
+ Uber and Lyft may bring you up the mountain, but they will NOT come get you to take you back down to the Valley floor, so please drive yourself, hire a driving service, or make other arrangements so you’re not stranded on the Mountain.
 

+ We do not provide snacks during your approximately one-hour visit, nor are we permitted for picnics, so please plan accordingly.

Location

Robert Foley Vineyards is at 1300 Summit Lake Dr, in Angwin, CA, on Howell Mountain, about an hour north of Napa. Google Map of route from Napa to the winery.

When you Arrive

Press the "call" button on the gate-code box to let us know you've arrived and we'll open the gate for you. Your destination is the building on the left with the green roof.

Directions from Napa

Take Silverado Trail north past St Helena
Follow until you reach the flashing red stop light at Deer Park Rd
Turn R on Deer Park Rd – go about 6-7 miles up the mountain
You will arrive into the village of Angwin
Turn L on College Ave at the Chevron Station
Go straight through the first stop sign
Turn R at the second stop sign on White Cottage (you may have seen a sign for this road about halfway up the hill, but this is the one you want)
Drive exactly one mile on White Cottage 
Turn L on Summit Lake Drive – if you get to Ink Grade Road you have gone too far
Follow the elbows in the road – first to the right, then to the left (follow the paved road to your LEFT)
Look for the 1300 address sign, you’ll see our name on the gate on the right side of the road

We do not work on the property and will be meeting you there, so please send a text to 707-965-2669 FROM THE VALLEY FLOOR should you be running early or late. While mobile phone reception on the Mountain is limited, we have found texts often still work.
